4 Kingsley Avenue: The Before and After

4 Kingsley Avenue has been through it all, a full renovation, refurbishment and then a photo shoot and it is looking absolutely amazing. We now have photos of the house before and the house after and the improvement is phenomenal. The house before, with its cramped and dark rooms and overgrown garden, has been transformed into somewhere that is bright, modern and extremely spacious, a proper Professional Crib, so take a look at the transformation yourself!

First, let’s start with the garden. When we first arrived at the house, the garden was bushy and overgrown but after the renovations, it is now a huge, two-tiered patio space, perfect for BBQs with friends and enjoying the summer sunshine.

Looking at the pictures above, the right-hand wall of the original house was taken wider so as to give us more space in the kitchen and the front of the house was brought forward. Then, the closed off, small kitchen and living rooms were knocked through and turned into the huge open plan living, kitchen and dining area.
The fixtures and fittings in the kitchen feature top of the range appliances and hand made cupboards. There is a central breakfast bar in the middle of the room, with vintage pendant lights, a large dining table, perfect for group meals and a snug area with a large comfy sofa and flat screen TV.
Before the renovation (left) the small windows and enclosed walls made the rooms dark and cramped. Now (right), with sky lights and 2.7m bi fold doors, the kitchen is bright and open.
Due to the huge amount of space the downstairs of the house now had, our development team was able to imagine what part of the open plan downstairs would look like as a snug area. They made this become a reality by changing the colour of the walls in the alcove room, to give it a cosy feel, and turning it into a living room (right).
On arrival at 4 Kingsley Avenue, the front room of the house was used as a front living room (left) but this was soon transformed into a beautiful double bedroom (right), with the big bay windows bringing light and character.
Heading upstairs, the five additional bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a washing room have all been renovated and refurbished.
This large double bedroom has big bay windows that fill it with light, and after replacing the dark carpet and walls (left) with wooden flooring and white paint, the new room (right) looks amazing.
All the bathrooms were also renovated and refurbished, from their former old fashioned and small state (left) to bright and modern bathrooms with brand new sanitary ware and tiling (right).
